WOW WOW WOW! Haven’t Pre School been busy! They have been exploring lots of jungle stories and creating lots of artwork to decorate their room!
Some of the AMAZING artwork they have made:
They’ve also been cooking and made super cheese straw snakes! YUMMY!
Plus exploring Handa’s Surprise Story Basket and had a Fruit Tasting session!
We’ve even been retelling stories with our Puppet Theatre!
The children have shown SUPER teamwork, working together to make their creations, helping eachother to share resources and there has been lots of conversation about the stories they have been exploring, talking about the characters and what happens in the stories showing wonderful listening and recall to have remembered so many interesting facts.
It’s lovely to hear them asking eachother questions, comparing similarities and differences between what they’ve made, which colours and animals are their favourite.
The children have learnt lots about shapes, especially the properties of a square. There has been lots of focus and engagement from the children and wonderful pride in their achievements.
The children have also been exploring makaton signs for lots of jungle animals. I wonder what signs they can show you at home?
They’ve also been exploring Animal Yoga!
What a busy few weeks Pre School have had ‘in the jungle!’
